• Miami International Airport, Miami, FL - Project included interior heavy glass partitions, glass handrails, security doors, custom point-support glazed structure, and FAA Control Tower glazing
• Miami Orange Line/ MIC Station, Miami, FL - Hurricane Impact resistant point support glazing, point support glass handrails, custom curtainwalls, and stainless steel and aluminum panels
• Dallas Fort Worth Airport, Dallas, TX - Renovation of three terminals using a unitized curtain wall system, with units 12’-0” tall and 7’-0” wide
• Lynden Pindling International Airport, Nassau, Bahamas - NR designed and installed 26’-0” tall by 7’-10” wide Hurricane Impact units and custom 3mm aluminum panels
• Fort McMurray International Airport, Alberta, Canada - Custom designed glazing system with Cor-Ten steel and triple glazed units.
• L.F. Wade International Airport, St George’s, Bermuda - Currently being engineered by NR, using a 28’-0” single span Hurricane Impact glazing system

Commercial

NR has completed several office, retail, and manufacturing projects, including:

• Metropolis Phase I, Los Angeles, CA - Residential tower and Hotel completed in 2016. NR designed and tested a single leg stack joint curtainwall system with 2% and 3% seismic movement
• Metropolis Phase II, Los Angeles, CA - Residential tower completed in 2017. NR designed a seismic curtainwall system with a double leg stack joint
• Century Plaza Towers, Los Angeles, CA - Currently being engineered for custom window wall, sliding doors, decorative balcony handrails
• The Mexican Museum, San Francisco, CA - Currently being engineered for custom point support glass system using exterior glass fins

Health Care

Hospital projects come with special challenges, such as enhanced engineering for essential facilities, increased acoustic control, and stringent environmental standards. NR is proud to meet the challenge.

• Miami Children’s Hospital, Miami, FL - NR provided Hurricane impact resistant curtainwall system and punched windows
• Cleveland Clinic, Weston, FL - NR provided Hurricane impact resistant curtainwall, and point support canopy glazing. The curtainwall system included provisions for custom concrete sunshade system attached through the curtainwall with steel outrigger tubes.
• Princess Margaret Hospital, Nassau, Bahamas - Ribbon windows, curtainwalls, and custom sunshade structure

Education

NR has a proud history of providing glazing products for multiple educational projects throughout Florida, including elementary schools, high schools, and university projects:

• Palm Beach County Schools, Palm Beach County, FL - NR was first in the early 1990 to provide design assist for school projects. NR has provided school projects with custom Hurricane windows of all types.
• Florida International University, Miami, FL - NR designed and installed a custom Hurricane curtainwall for the Science Classroom building, including custom design punched windows installed at the precast concrete manufacturer’s factory. Precast concrete panels were then delivered to the jobsite and hung with windows already installed
• Miami Dade College, Miami, FL - At the Wolfson Campus for The Culinary Arts building, NR provided a curtainwall system designed to meet a windload of -168 psf

Casino

NR endeavors to work closely with the design team to fulfill the unique requirements of marquee Casino projects, such as:

• Scarlet Pearl Casino, Biloxi, MS - Produced by NR in compliance with the Miami Dade standards. The project, an 18-story hotel and casino, utilized a Hurricane impact unitized curtain wall system with custom frit pattern on the glass resembling ocean waves
• Seminole Hard Rock Hotel, Hollywood, FL - Currently in engineering, the guitar shaped project is one of a kind. NR developed a custom “segmented” mullion system to create a faceted profile around the perimeter of the building. This is the first time that a unitized curtain wall system has included horizontally segmented mullions between floors, achieving the smooth curvature of a guitar.

• One Bal Harbour, Bal Harbour, FL - 26-story condominium including Hurricane impact resistant window wall, sliding doors, and curtainwalls, as well as custom glass handrails
• 550 Vanderbilt Tower, Brooklyn, NY - Custom thermally broken glazing system with custom aluminum perimeter “shroud” extrusions
• Metropolis Phase I, Los Angeles, CA - Residential tower designed by renowned architecture firm Gensler won “Best residential tower in LA”.
• Oceanside, Pompano Beach, FL - 18-story condominium including Hurricane impact resistant window wall and sliding glass doors.
• 1700 Webster, Oakland, CA - Currently under construction, NR is providing seismic curtainwalls, ribbon windows installed at the precast concrete contractor’s factory, and custom perforated metal panels at the Garage
