Projected Windows

Casement and Projected windows operate by moving away, or “projecting,” from the plane of the window frames, as awning or hopper vents, and as in-swinging or out-swinging casement vents. Casement windows operate about a vertical axis while projected windows open and close horizontally. These window types use compression-seal weather-stripping, and are offered with adjoining fixed windows.

Projection windows are often used in areas where the weather is subject to high wind and rain. Our team has installed thousands of projection windows in buildings over the past 20+ years. Projection windows are often used in schools and commercial applications. NR Group has many different styles and sizes all with Miami Dade Notices of Approval, known as an NOA. We offer an unlimited range of colors and glass types that can be tailored to meet the project specifications and esthetic needs of the architectural designer.
