TITLE:  INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT:  WEST PALM BEACH, FL

DUTIES:

• Manage and estimate curtainwall, window wall, doors, windows, handrails, cladding, vents and any other façade system, production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of window design changes on expenditures for management review.

• Design and develop façade shop drawing of curtain wall unitized system, stick system, window wall system, doors, windows, stone/terracotta/GFRC façade, handrails, metal cladding, vent, copping and some interface detail with building clean system, lighting, LED and signage.  

• During the design phase, coordinate with GC, architect, structure engineer, mechanical engineer to let the project have smooth progress with design standard and find ways to make the fabrication and installation easier and cost less.  

• Plan and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble of curtainwall, window wall, doors, windows, handrails, cladding, vents and any other façade systems.  

• Analyze product specifications to determine quality standards procedures for the whole fabrication progress include incoming quality inspection, fabrication quality control, assembly line quality control, curing, packing for curtainwall, window wall, doors, windows, handrails, cladding, vents and any other façade systems manufactured by the company and relevant suppliers.

•  Perform inspections, data analysis and validation of QC process performed by suppliers.

• Confer with clients, vendors and management regarding purchases, product and production specifications, manufacturing capabilities, or project status.

• Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production of curtainwall, window wall, doors, windows, handrails, cladding, vents and any other façade systems within design standards.

• Evaluate precision and accuracy of fabrication with measurement equipment such as vernier caliper, feeler gauge, measuring reel, coating thickness gauge and engineering drawings to formulate corrective action plan.

• Draft and design layout of curtain wall unit panels, embeds, slab brackets to illustrate maximum efficiency using drafting software Autocad.

REQUIREMENTS:

• US bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or US equivalent 
• Two years (24 months) of experience in job offered.
• Two years of experience with: 
• Designing and developing façade shop drawing of curtain wall unitized system, stick system, window wall system, doors, windows, stone/terracotta/GFRC façade, handrails, metal cladding, vent, copping and some interface detail with building clean system, lighting, LED and signage 
• Evaluating precision and accuracy of fabrication with measurement equipment such as vernier caliper, feeler gauge, measuring reel, coating thickness gauge and engineering drawings to formulate corrective action plan.
• Drafting and designing layout of curtain wall unit panels, embeds, slab brackets to illustrate maximum efficiency using drafting software: Autocad.

EXPERIENCE: 2 years (24 months) of experience in the job offered

SALARY:   $60611.00.

HOURS: 40 hours per week, 9:00 AM to 5:00 P.M.
